New Generative AI policy…
Artivate has updated our guidelines to require a statement from the author(s) whether or not generative AI/LLM tools were used in preparing the submitted manuscript. The full policy is included on our Submissions page and also included below.
Generative AI and LLM Disclosure. Authors may use generative artificial intelligence (AI) and large language model (LLM) tools to support the preparation of a submission, but such tools cannot be listed as an author, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of everything they submit, including any AI-assisted content. At submission, every author must indicate whether or not generative AI/LLM tools were used in preparing the manuscript. Where such tools were used in a way that affected the text, structure, figures, or analysis, authors must name the tool and describe how it was used in a brief declaration placed before the reference list. Routine assistance such as grammar and spelling checkers, reference managers, and accessibility tools does not require disclosure. Where generative AI is itself a medium or subject of the creative work being discussed, describe that use within the article rather than in the disclosure.
